Great speaker, put this in an old Crate that I had, works great!

This is a well made speaker. Sounds good, nice bass tones but it is Nothing spectacular. It just does the job pretty good for a 12" Bass speaker. I gave it 5 starts because it did all that you would expect from a bass speaker. It also has a good rounded articulate bottom end not boomie. My problem was I put it in an old 2x12 fender cabinet from 1970. The cabinet is in decent shape but not enough to handle the bottom end. It rattles and you head small air leaks at bottom end. So the speaker did sound good, but it annoyed me more because of the cabinet. My fault. I will need to put another 50 screws in it. LOL But I did want to let you all know, it works, it works good, it does not sound cheap but it is Not something above and beyond some Ampeg 12 cabinets I been hearing lately. Hope that helps. I would recommend as a replacement if necessary and cost effective.
