88-Key Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard

Enjoy a realistic piano touch with the CDP-S160's 88-key scaled hammer action keyboard. Weighted keys simulate the feel of real piano hammers, while textured simulated ivory and ebony surfaces prevent slippage during performance. The CDP-S160's keyboard provides an authentic playing experience for pianists at any skill level.

10 Quality Instrument Tones

In addition to a newly enhanced stereo grand piano tone, the CDP-S160 offers nine other rich tones including electric piano, harpsichord and strings. Easily layer tones together or split the keyboard to play two different tones with your left and right hands. Adjustable reverb and chorus effects provide extra depth and dimension to your playing.

Practice and Playback Features

The CDP-S160 includes a built-in metronome to help you keep time, as well as a one-button MIDI recorder to capture and play back your performances. Two demo songs are also included to provide an example of the CDP-S160's sound capabilities. For quiet practice, simply plug in your favorite pair of headphones into the CDP-S160's headphone output to mute the built-in stereo speaker system.

Optional Accessories for an Authentic Piano Experience

While a standard sustain pedal comes included, connect the optional SP-34 portable three-pedal unit for sostenuto and soft pedal control. The optional CS-46 matching wooden stand places the CDP-S160 at the ideal height, while the new CS-470P stand adds three fixed pedals for an acoustic-like playing position.
