TAKE CONTROL... OF YOUR RIG! CARL MARTIN OCTASWITCH "The Strip"

"The Strip" Carl Martin's Best Octa Switcher Yet?

Carl Martin Octa-Switch The Strip | Review | Nick Jennison

Carl Martin Octa-Switch: The Strip - Doctor Guitar EP249

Description
At first glance, the Carl Martin Octa-Switch the Strip (designed and refined by Thomas Guldman), has all the same features as before. There are eight FX loops that can be programmed into 8 banks. The loops are all True-Bypass, impedance-free gold relays so you can run all your pedals (old and new) without issue. The main input can be True Bypass, or it can be switched to Buffered for large stages or long cable runs. There are eight blue LEDs that indicate which of the eight loops is being used, and eight green LEDs that indicate which bank is being used.

Features
- 8 FX loops programmable into 8 banks

I wanted a straightforward easy to use swicher than can control amplifier functions. I like the fact that this Octaswitch the Strip has just 8 presets, that's it, no banking (although carl martin use the term 'banks' which is about the only confusing thing associated with this product lol. Hey carl martin- they're called PRESETS). This pedal can also function in a basic mode where each button simply corresponds with a pedal for those experimental sets. I love the simplicity and control of setting up 8 presets than can turn on any pedal, switch any amp function, send a midi trigger to change the settings on your midi powered pedals and also send the signal to one or two amps- or both ! For me, I do not want anything more complex and I don't need any more than 8 total presets. I really love this thing. And my pedalboard is not that big at all! (Novo 24)
