5 star sound quality but fell short in durability

In comparing these headphones to similiarly priced sony and sennheiser I found that the Beyerdynamic's had a fuller range. The Sony and Sennheiser's were somewhat "Tinny" as they seemed to accomodate mostly the high and mid ranges . The only problem... these were used only for awhile before they shorted out... first the left side then completey... after about 4 months. I'm not sure if this was due to "rough or careless" handling by my engineer... but I'm sure glad I got the replacement warranty.

    Awesome if both ears work

These headphones sound great and cancel out almost all excess noise. Then 3 minutes later the right ear stops producing any sound whatsoever. LAME! Beyerdynamic, FIX YOUR FLAWS.

I bought the DT 770 PRO Closed 250 Ohms Studio Headphones for video editing. I had already used a pair so I knew the quality of the sound and the isolation.
