Behringer

Description

The Behringer EUROLIVE VP1800S 1,600W passive subwoofer provides the foundation for your PA or studio monitoring system with its brute strength and deep, room-filling low end. Equipped with a brawny 18" woofer in a bass reflex enclosure, this rugged sub reaches down to 35Hz to reinforce your mixes or live sound with authoritative low frequencies. Despite its heavyweight capabilities, the VP1800S remains remarkably portable thanks to its lightweight plywood construction and recessed handles.

Powerful Peak Performance

Boasting an impressive power handling of 1,600W peak, 400W continuous, the EUROLIVE Behringer VP1800S delivers high-impact bass that's felt as much as it's heard. The oversized 18" woofer reproduces low end with precision and punch, ensuring your kick drum hits home and synth bass lines shake the room. Vocals sound richer and guitars gain gritty thickness when paired with the VP1800S.

Massive Low-Frequency Driver

The core of this Behringer powered subwoofer is its muscular 18" woofer, engineered to reproduce frequencies as low as 35Hz with accuracy and authority. This allows you to render sub-bass content with detail and depth, whether thundering EDM or the lowest notes on an acoustic bass. Even at high volumes, the woofer maintains composure and control.

Road-Ready Construction With Protective Coating

It's built from plywood rather than MDF for enhanced reliability and coated in a rugged black material to withstand life on the road. Recessed handles on the top and sides make transport easy, while a polemount socket lets you elevate it off the floor. For simple connectivity, the VP1800S provides two speakON inputs.

Hear Your Mixes and Performances as Intended

Every engineer knows low end is crucial to giving mixes and live sound their power and presence. With its mammoth 18" woofer and 1,600W peak power handling, the EUROLIVE VP1800S subwoofer provides the foundation your audio deserves. Feel and hear the difference with chest-thumping, floor-shaking bass reinforcement from Behringer.

I picked up a set of these about a year ago and have used them about twice a month. The sound s not bad at all. The only concern i have is the cabinet construction. They appear to be made from cheap compressed board and the carpet is starting to peel back. Mine came with no metal protective corners and i actually have 3 corners crushed in already from loading and unloading. One of the cabinets is beginning to rattle little but i dont mind at all,its minor. the grills could be a little tougher as well. I think in the future i will save up a little bit more and get another brand.

Granted these aren't going to knock the house down but for the price it's exceptional. I've had one for two years and just bought a second one.
