Worth the low price

Got this to downsize my pedal board. Good idea to create a cheat sheet for parameter settings, takes time to dial in each effect. Effects sound a little wonky but are usable. Lettering for effect types is tiny, hard to see in good light, very hard to see in dim light, so a small flash light is a plan if using live. Parameters must be adjusted at every effect change, cheat sheet is essential. But hey, it's inexpensive, plays nice with other pedals, and usable pitch shift/tremolo, so pretty good for the price.

Jack of All Traits, Master of None

To put it forward, I've loved every Behringer pedal I've bought so far, except this one. It is alright, and I enjoy using it, but I personally don't feel it holds up to some of the others. It functions well as an extra layer, but not a specialist. It is like hiring a decent guitarist to play bass instead of finding an actual bassist: -it will get the job done, but not at the same level as the real thing. The set up is nice, but the effects aren't perfect. The flanger, chorus, and phaser are probably the strongest effects (which is actually what I primarily bought it for). It is nice being able to control the speed and intensity on these effects and not just speed like on most pedals of these effects. However, the blend knob actually decreases the overall volume the more you turn the effect up, thus making it hard to balance it with the straight tone. This is specifically problematic with the phaser, as phaser is a great way to boast your lead lines through a mix so they can be heard better without increasing the volume. Overall, I do like the effects, especially the phaser. The delay and tremolo are hard to figure out as the speed works opposite from the other three effects. Also the delay has very little decay per repeat so it sounds slightly overpowered, however I could see it really adding great sustain to an aetherial effect with a good reverb pedal (I've not actually tried this yet). You can also get infinite repeats from the delay that will only go away after a few new waves (notes) go through it. This has interesting possibilities which I've not yet figured out something to do with. The worst effect is the pitch shifter. You have to align one of the knobs just right to keep it in tune, adds very little to the overall character of the effect, and has a slight delay in the new pitch. This delay is really only noticeable when playing solo, but is still not ideal. Overall, it is a nice pedal and has given me many tools to play with.

At the price point, this is a really good effect. I am using it mainly for Echo/Delay, but I may expand the usage, after I played around with it and found a few other interesting effects in it.
