collapse expand iconDescription

The groundbreaking WAZA Tube Amp Expander from BOSS transforms your cherished tube guitar amplifier into the ultimate tone machine for both stage and studio. This revolutionary device combines a variable reactive load box, active analog power stage, mic'd cab emulator, IR loader and multi-output interface in one road-ready unit.

Retain Your Amp's True Character at Any Volume

The WAZA Tube Amp Expander's reactive load box gives you the ability to crank your tube amp to its tonal sweet spot while controlling overall volume to suit the situation. Select from 16 different impedance settings to precisely match your amp's output transformer, allowing its true sound and dynamic feel to shine through. Any tube guitar amp up to 150W is supported.

Built-In Effects and EQ Sculpt Your Tone

Shape your core amp tone with the WAZA Tube Amp Expander's onboard compressor, delay and reverb effects, all fully customizable using the dedicated editor software. Four different EQs—including a switchable solo boost—are on hand for strategic tone shaping at multiple points in the signal path. An external effects loop provides support for both line-level devices and standard stompboxes in series or parallel.

Powerful Control On Stage and In the Studio

Store 10 different rig setups in the WAZA Tube Amp Expander with recall via the front panel or optional GA-FC foot controller. Each rig includes custom effects and EQ, cab/IR selections, MIDI control and more. The GA-FC also provides real-time access to delay, tap tempo, solo/EQ and amp channel switching. Stereo line outputs with cab emulation or IRs feed PAs, monitors and recording devices, while parallel speaker outputs drive up to two cabs from the built-in 100-watt power stage.

Connect to Everything Simultaneously

The WAZA Tube Amp Expander's extensive I/O matrix supports multiple destinations at once. Drive stage cabs and boost low-wattage amps with the speaker outputs and integrated power stage. Feed the main PA, monitors, recording interfaces and headphones with line, USB and phones outs. Select from 22 cabs with five mic types each for the line outs or load your favorite IRs into four user slots. Deep software-based editing provides a world of customization for total command of your tone in any creative scenario.
