Amazing device and great value...

I have the Katana Artist GEN 3, and the Katana GO is its portable equivalent. I think the studio app is actually better for the GO. Extremely intuitive to use and the amount of editing/sound design options are vast. The fact that it has a tuner is a total bonus. Even the Artist doens't have one. And lastly, I'm excited to try running the GO straight into my DAW via USB-C. That's very cool.

I live in hopes of better tech.

This unit could be better but, In my opinion, and Having played with this a year now, It is better than most devices of this nature out there i.e. Positive Grid, Fender Mustang micro (which is terrible), NUX MP-3, Vox amPLUG 2 etc... Make something Better please.

I purchased this yesterday, however I didn't have a chance to use it till today. I play the banjo, which why I wanted to try it. Sounded great. Then I put my bridge mute on. Sounded great with the headphones on. Without the headphones on barely heard anything. Next will be to record video.

Horrible! I couldn't connect to audio to play along with backing tracks on YouTube. I tried EVERYTHING!!!! I Really wanted to like this and was encouraged by all of the positive reviews but without this function it's totally useless to Mr. I'm taking it back soon. Maybe someone that had this problem and was able to fix it can help me. It sounds great but.....

This thing is great. I bought a Fender Mustang Micro a few years ago, and it's nice for practice, but doesn't give you that much control over your sound. This little guy is fully editable with the app, and even gives a good amount of control without it. Sound is great through headphones or computer speakers, and works as an interface to your computer. 👍

Beginner and live in an apartment. Neighbors were complaining about the noise with my regular amp. I bought this so I can practice loud without disturbing anyone. The app has a ton of tones and I don't have to lug my amp around and can practice practically anywhere. Love it

Have a question about this product? Our expert Gear Advisers have the answers.

Yes or no on bluetooth headphones? It appears as the question has been asked twice already but got two different answers.

I apologize for the confusion. No, the BOSS Katana:Go Mini Guitar Headphone Amp does not support Bluetooth headphones. While it features Bluetooth connectivity, this is solely for streaming backing tracks and connecting to the BOSS Tone Studio app for sound editing and practice tools. Audio output is provided exclusively through the 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, requiring the use of wired headphones or earbuds.

Can this pair with wireless headphones? I have a pair of studio Sony headphones that would be great for quality. Or does this product need a direct input?

    Unfortunately, no.
