collapse expand iconDescription

The BOSS Acoustic Singer Live amplifier delivers a premium live performance experience for singer-songwriters and acoustic musicians. This innovative 60-watt bi-amped PA system offers discrete analog channels for acoustic guitar and vocal, each equipped with three-band EQ and studio-quality effects for rich, vibrant sound with crystal-clear definition. Complete with automatic vocal harmonies, looping, USB connectivity and more, the Acoustic Singer Live gives acoustic artists everything needed to inspire audiences.

Acoustic Resonance Restores Natural Guitar Tone

The dedicated guitar channel features BOSS's Acoustic Resonance processing to eliminate the sterile tone common with piezo pickups, restoring the resonance and character lost when amplifying acoustic guitars. With a discrete analog input circuit and extended dynamic range, the Acoustic Singer Live accurately reproduces the guitar's fast transient response and rich harmonics for an inspiring experience.

Mic Channel for Vocals and More

The vocal channel provides phantom power for studio condenser mics, a discrete analog input and three-band EQ for full, natural-sounding vocals. For guitar-only use, the channel mics up your acoustic or blends an additional pickup. Delay, reverb and anti-feedback controls enrich your sound.

Harmony and Looping Functions

The automatic vocal harmony function generates live harmonies as you sing and play, following chord changes smoothly. Select harmony or unison doubling. The built-in looper creates live backing with guitar, vocals and effects.

Advanced Connectivity and Control

Dual XLR D.I. outputs provide each channel direct or post-effects. An AUX in connects mobile backing tracks. USB sends signals to a DAW. A phones/recording out enables quiet practice and recording. Control harmonies, looper and effects with optional footswitches (sold separately).

Very Sweet Product especially for a soloist!

I'm loving my new Acoustic Singer Live!! Lots of power of this little amp and the effects are awesome and fun to play with it. I'm still trying to get the hang of if all as I haven't had lots of time just yet. I love being able to record short tracks and have them play back and be able to play over them, and the vocal playback harmonies make my singing solo a much nicer experience. So far it's a lot of fun. I have to get a foot switch for it so I can turn off the the effects when needed.

Defective

Right out of the box, most of the buttons didn't work. Returning for refund and not willing to risk trying another... or any other Boss products.

Pass it around the room for lead guitarist to use for large acoustic music group. Wanted a way to have who ever is leading a song can be heard over all the other acoustic instruments in the group. It is compact enough to pas from player to player and controls are easy to use.

Great sound and portability. Unfortunately, not reliable. Left me stranded.

  • Would definitely recommend it for solo musicians.

I'm using it as a monitor for medium gigs and as the main amp for my small shows.Im a solo musician and do anywhere from 3 to 5 gigs a week. Love the built in effect and the pedal that boss included in. The less I have to carry the better. Its light weight and it has a nice warm sound. Pretty much all a soloist needs Nice for my needs.

  • I wil lgrow into larger sysatems

I play a nylon string guitar and use an Xvive U8 wireless system to amplify it. So including a vocal mic I need two mic inputs. Can I use an XLR to 1/4" adapter with this amp, running the Xvive into the 1/4" input? If so, should I get a TRS adapter? Will there be any degradation of the signal quality, or will I lose any functionality in the guitar channel?

Yes, you can use the Xvive U8 wireless system into the 1/4" input of the BOSS Acoustic Singer Live amp, but here's how to do it right and what to expect: 1. Connection Setup: The Xvive U8 receiver outputs a standard 1/4" TS instrument-level signal, so it should plug directly into the 1/4" instrument input of the amp without any need for an XLR to 1/4" adapter. That 1/4" input on the BOSS amp is specifically designed for guitar/instrument signals, so you're all good there. Do You Need a TRS Adapter? No, do not use a TRS adapter here. The guitar input on the BOSS amp expects a TS (mono) signal, like what your Xvive provides. Using TRS (stereo/balanced) might result in no sound or improper grounding. Signal Quality: There won’t be any degradation in signal quality if you're plugging the Xvive receiver straight into the 1/4" guitar input. The BOSS amp’s guitar channel is tailored for acoustic instruments, with EQ, anti-feedback, and reverb/chorus features that will remain fully functional. You won’t lose any functionality by using the Xvive this way—it’s exactly how it's designed to work. Mic Input Use one of the XLR combo jacks on the amp for your vocal mic, and you’re covered with your two input needs.

I wouldn't say it sounds much different than the Fender. Either one will give you a great clean tone that accommodates an acoustic very well.

I need an acoustic singer-songwriter amp. However, in my duo I also like to break out my Telecaster and play some Southern and Classic rock favorites later in the evening for the bar crowd (with my pedalboard). I'm not trying to play Woodstock with a live band. That said, how well would it handle some electric guitar on some tunes? I know it will work great for acoustic and vocal.

This has a very nice clean tone, so if you're using a Tele with a pedal board you'll be set.
