The Hi-X55 circum-aural closed-back headphones provide over-the-ear comfort as well as portability with the foldable hinge design. Metal parts are used for all critical elements in order to guarantee long durability even under rough conditions be it in studios or tour buses.

Developed from scratch, the all new 44mm Hi-X driver features a ring magnet system – a home-grown technology which has been incorporated into various award-winning headphones in the past by our engineers. It allows improved air-flow and the strongest magnetic field in its class. This ring magnet structure coupled with a copper-clad aluminum voice coil reduces the weight of the membrane and voice coil that sits on it allowing it to move or change direction faster providing a better impulse reaction, highly desired for contemporary as well as traditional music production.

A double acoustic wall was designed to achieve the best damping results, to support this and in-creased comfort, the form factor of the earpads has been rethought completely, giving more room for the ears without enlarging the earcups, reducing fatigue from long listening sessions.

Engineered and manufactured in Austria, the Hi-X55, and its on-ear brother the Hi-X50, are tailored to suit the demanding production conditions of today. With the all-digital signal chain, using 24bit or even 32bit, the dynamic depth of contemporary source tracks puts engineer and material at the mix-ing desk to the test.

These headphones sound absolutely amazing. A bit disappointing when I first tried them but I decided to buy an aftermarket DAC/Headphone amp and give them a second chance and I'm glad I did. The sound they produce is incredible! Also as an added bonus they are fantastic for gaming.

Wow. These headphones are incredible, they sound absolutely unreal. Like a 5:1 surround sound system except in your headphones. Incredibly comfortable, I also love the fact that it's a small business who refuses to compromise on parts or quality. Stop reading reviews, go buy the things!

  • Give these a try. You wont regret it!

i uses these for recording and learning music. they are definitely not a bassy headphone but they are very well defined as in you hear every instrument and note very clearly which aids in learning music and recording. i really like these headphones alot they do just what i need. if you are learning music and/or recording you cant go wrong with these. now they are a little pricey but are very well worth it. last but not least yes if something happened to these ie; broke or stolen i indeed would gladly purchase another pair.
