Heavy enough- although could be heavier for my Shure 55 retro mike. Stable enough as well. I had an Atlas stand almost identical- but I think a bit heavier base - 50 years ago. I like the chrome to go with my mike.
Good price and works well in a home studio.

Typical but decent mic stand. So far so good. Replaced one with stripped threads. It's nice to get a new one.
I would purchase this product again

This very basic round base Mic stand has the heaviest weighted base I have seen. I have two other stands with identical base diameters but the Atlas stand is heavier. Works great with new Atlas boom.
It works
