i live off in an apartment that over looks one of the busiest streets in my city. While using this product the mic picked up everything, i could hear birds as well as the traffic. i would recommend this product to anyone that has the ability to record in a sound proof room. The mic sets up quickly and the port for headphones is a plus for anyone wanting to record on an iPhone dated above a 6, because of the removed 3.5 port for headphones. i really like the ability to isolate and blend the mic with any sounds coming from another source, like a backing track.
