The History of Ampeg

Description

The Ampeg Rocket Bass RB-110 is a 50W 1x10" bass combo amp that delivers the legendary tone and performance the brand is renowned for. Now available in a lightweight, gig-ready package, the RB-110 is perfect for bassists who demand authentic Ampeg sound on the go.

Classic Ampeg EQ and Grit

The RB-110 features Ampeg's iconic 3-band EQ, enabling you to easily shape your tone to perfection. When you want to add some grit and growl, the onboard Super Grit Technology overdrive kicks in warm, full-bodied distortion that keeps your low end intact.

Versatile Connectivity

With 0dB and –15dB inputs, the RB-110 handles both active and passive basses with ease. An XLR direct out provides a balanced signal to connect directly to a PA or recording interface, while an 1/8" AUX in and headphone out facilitate silent practice.

Retro-Inspired Style

The RB-110's black diamond Tolex and signature sparkle grille cloth give a nod to Ampeg's 1960s Rocket series amps, combining vintage vibe with contemporary design.

Robust Tone in a Compact Size

Despite its small stature, the RB-110 produces a huge, full tone thanks to a specially designed 10" speaker and ported cabinet. With 50 watts of power, this combo has ample volume and headroom for any gig while remaining lightweight and travel-friendly.

I should've played it in the store. Oh well lesson learned. This thing has huge buzz to it. I don't even have the bass half way and even lowered it to 0. The volume is at 1/3. Still buzz buzz buzz. While playing the bass. For some reason it doesn't do that when I use a guitar. As a guitar amp it works fine.

  • Fantastic entry into Ampeg sound for home practice/studio

I bought this amp to use for practice at home, and to do some recording into an audio interface. To my surprise this amp gets quite loud, I suspect it will hold its own in a jam session or even a small gig. Tone on both the clean channel and with SGT engaged is excellent, SGT level goes from very low (slightly dirty, warmer tone) all the way up to full distortion - can't wait to play a rock solo with this.
