Open Box Acoustic Loop1 Looper Pedal Level 1

Description
The Sound On Sound Looper Pedal provides guitarists and other instrumentalists with an unprecedented 30 minutes of loop recording time to compose entire songs on the fly. Acoustic is thrilled to offer this innovative looper pedal that provides unlimited overdubs and a simple interface so you can focus on your creativity. With a single press of the footswitch, you have complete control to start, stop, record, overdub, undo and redo. True bypass circuitry ensures your tone remains unaffected when the pedal is idle.
Compose Full Songs with 30 Minutes of Loop Time
Most looper pedals provide only a few minutes of recording time, limiting your ability to create more complex layered loops and entire songs. The Sound On Sound Looper Pedal gives you a full 30 minutes to compose multiple parts, add layers and include full verses and choruses. Once you've recorded a loop, you can overdub as many times as you like to build up the sound. The possibilities for creativity are endless.
Intuitive Controls Keep You Focused on Your Playing
A single footswitch provides easy control of all the pedal's functions so you can keep your hands on your instrument. With one press, you can start, stop and undo/redo your loops. LED lights clearly indicate whether you're recording, overdubbing or playing back a loop so you always know where you are in the composition process. A volume knob allows fine adjustment of the loop level to balance layered parts. The pedal's smaller size saves space on your pedalboard without sacrificing functionality.
Your Loops Are Saved for Next Time
Once you've created the perfect loop, the Sound On Sound Looper Pedal saves your creation even after powering off so you can pick up where you left off at your next practice or performance. Simply power on the pedal and your loop will be ready to overdub or play back. With 30 minutes of recording time, you'll never run out of space to save your loops and songs.

This pedal is a steal.
Love this pedal. I just wanted a cheap, simple looper to work on soloing over chord progressions at home. This is perfect for that. One button controls everything - record loop, play, overdub, erase, undo, and stop. One volume knob to control output. LED lights tell you where you are in the loop so you know when to come in. And compact size takes up little space on my small board. Yes you do need a power adapter, but I just use my Donner daisy chain and it works great, no noise. I can't believe people are leaving bad reviews because it doesn't include a power adapter. Most pedals do not come with those.

It is what it is.
It does what it says it does. I have no complaints there, but if you plan on buying one, go in knowing full well it's got a hard click button, and that button makes a noticeable sound when engaged(not overwhelming, but noticeable), and that sound will be a permanent part of your loop. Period. It also takes some time to get an accurate loop--I have 40+ years drumming, and have been practicing to a click the entire time, I have no problems gauging loop points(none what-so-ever), but the hard click makes it difficult to push down, and will sometimes stutter--not a good selling point for a loop pedal. That being said it's not suited to most live situations, maybe you could get away with some percussion sounds, or something similar where the click will be well disguised, and may even add something to the track, but not for something subtle. That's not to say it's a bad product. I use it all the time, mainly for recording bass guitar ideas on the fly. It's great for situations where you're working on an idea and need to record something fast and easy, and be able to add to it, or rewrite it on the fly. So as a composition tool it's great, and it really is, but for live situations, you might want to mod it by simply replacing that button(I plan to)--I have a sneaky suspicion that will fix all of its problems---sad no one caught that design flaw before it went to production--upgrading 10-cents to a better button would put this thing over the top .

It is a very reliable little device. I use for religious services and at home. The price was right and it's small enough to make it portable for most situations.

I used this about weekly for the last two years for playing and practicing at home. It suddenly stopped working after 2 years so I wouldnt exactly say I got my moneys worth. My recommendation is to spend a little more for a more reliable product

This pedal was pretty disappointing. A delay is about the simplest effect you can do digitally. As far as I can tell, there's no "crossfade" from one pass to the next. So if you are playing through the end of the loop (e.g., guitar parts that ring), it will click/pop as it restarts the loop. It is OK for percussive parts that won't span the loop, but it's awful for guitar. +1 star for build quality. It's sturdy and pretty.
I would not this ever again.

Used it once and worked fine. The next time I went to use it, it would even come on. I paid the full price for too!! Never again.

No robust feature set, but allows for recording up to 30 minutes of audio, including layered recordings. Requires a little time to get used to the foot controls, but great for the price point.

What is the meaning of the word acoustic in the acoustic loop 1 looper pedal? Does this mean that the pedal only works for acoustic guitars? Does it mean that it only works for amps that are meant for acoustic guitar? Is there another reason for this title? I am looking for a cheap simple looper pedal that I can use for my electric guitar. Will this work for me?
Yes, it will work for you
