Just What I Needed

This is just what I needed for my home studio. Can also take it with me when recording elsewhere. Great clarity for the price!

No shock proof mic holder

I use this equipment for home studio recording. I've recorded with this brand a few times throughout my 17 years of recording, and I don't have any major issues with it. This particular mic doesn't come with a shock proof mic holder, so that was an issue. I haven't used the set up because of said issue, and my desktop isn't compatible with Pro Tools or Ableton Live Lite. I've had my gear for a week today and have yet to record properly with it.

    This mic has a great sound and I would definitely buy this again. The only thing to watch out for is that there is not a shock mount for it. There are universal shock mounts, but not a designed for. You will want the shock mount or else the room/floor noise is overpowering.

    I never realized how much easier it was to mic guitar/vocal with one condenser mic than one dynamic. The dynamic required two dynamic mic to avoid contorting while performing.
