One of the best bang for buck headphones out there! Easy enough to drive from a portable, but really shines on dedicated DAC/Amp. I've owned headphones ranging from $30 up to $2000, and for the price, the AKG K701/K702 series is a solid everyday use set of cans. One of my regular go-tos.

Possibly the best headphones I've ever owned. I've had more expensive headphones that didn't sound as good as these. The frequency response is off the hook! If you can manage a little more for a pair then I guarantee it will be an investment in better sounding mixes and your band, or clients, will thank you.
I would buy this product again!

I use this for mixing and mastering. I mix in Spatial Audio and Dolby atmos and sounds fantastic on binaural. This has great bass and mids along with highs and everything in between. Do yourself a favor and try them out! You won't be disappointed. These are very comfortable and I wear them for hours on end with no ear fatigue.
Great deal!

I bought 2 to complement the 2 H-Ph outputs on my Scarlett 18i18. The specs say 10Hz to 38,900Hz. I know I have some hearing loss at the higher frequencies, but I didn't expect the lows to be so ...anemic. Turning on my speakers was an entirely different (better) result. I hope its just me, and not my customers. The best feature is the removable cord with the screw-on !/4"-3.5mm jack. This is a big improvement over my captive Sony MDR-V600, as it's a bother to deal with the intermittently open channel (cord replacement).

Would these be appropriate for guitar practice, going into a Roland cube with phone jack? I have k240 that must be defective.. ear piercing shrill gives you a headache. I know they're highly rated and must be blown. Are these phones a good step up? Thanks
Yes, they would.submitteda year ago
