You get outstanding performance with the AKG Varimotion diaphragm technology in this mic and a frequency-independent cardioid pickup pattern that provides very effective feedback suppression. Doubleflex shockmounted transducer system reduces handling noise. Includes microphone clip.

Good amp for instruments but not sure about vocals

If you want to record instruments I definitely recommend this mic it is a great mic. However, for vocals, I think that it provides a little too much bass in the voice and would suggest something like a sm-58 or some other mic.
