I use these to mount speakers on the wall eliminating the floor space that would be taken up when using a tripod speaker stand. You can also easily lift the speaker off of the wall mount if they need to be taken off for security reasons.

I purchased these along with a pair of Phonic S712 speakers for our game/music room. We use them for karaoke as well as live band practice. Great sound, good balance, nice bass and treble. My only gripe is that unlike other wall brackets, TV for example, they don't come with required lag screws or bolts. And guess what? Home Depot doesn't sell black lag bolts........ Other than that, a fine product.

Got these mounts for our church to be able to get the speakers up and out of the way to make more room. Worked great and love that you can adjust them just about anyway you want.

  • Will not fit Yamaha Speakers

These speaker wall mount brackets are very well built and would have more that met my needs, except for one problem. The pole mount will not fit into my Yamaha speaker?s pole socket. I called both Yamaha and OnStage about the problem and both told me that their products meet the industry standard for a pole mount of 1 3/8?. The Yamaha speakers did fit onto a set of floor stands that I have. The speakers slid on to the floor stand poles with no effort exerted. They were a tighter fit than the Peavy speakers that I have and I had to have someone hold down one of the speaker stands so I could pick the speaker up off of it. Next I measured the speaker pole sockets and the speaker mount poles with a digital caliper. A 1 3/8? pole with the calipers should measure 1.375 and that is what the poles on floor stands I have measured. The Yamaha speaker pole sockets measured 1.372 at their shortest diameter. But because the pole sockets have a hexagonal shape the speakers did fit on the stands. The poles on both of the wall mounts measured 1.397 at the smallest diameter I could find with multiple measurements on both poles. When I called OnStage back about this I was told to return them because if the pair that I have did not fit then it was unlikely that a new pair would fit. When I talked to Yamaha I was told that all of their speakers that have pole mount sockets use the same socket. My conclusion: Although the Yamaha speaker sockets are a little smaller than they should be, if the poles on the wall mount brackets had been a true 1 3/8? (measuring 1.375 with the calipers) then the speakers would have it on the wall brackets with a tight fit. If your speaker pole sockets have a diameter of at least 1 and 7/16? I would definitely give these wall mount brackets a try. If not you will need to look for another bracket.
