It works perfect. We were able to eliminate 5 mic stands on our stage & conveniently places all 6 of our worship teams mics in 1 spot out of the way. With all the instruments, singers, and musicians stage space gets filled up fast, so eliminating unnecessary stands was great. It seems to be nice and sturdy and well made. Very happy thus far.

Says it holds up to six mics but the two threadings where it angles are not tall enough to catch the mic clip. Can only get it to hold five mics (using the threading that attaches it to the mic stand.) Other than that it works well enough.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but this Mic Bar is built like a tank. I actually attached it to a mic stand, and put my hot spot monitor on one of the mic bar's mounts, and used a boom extension on another mount for my vocals -- It all worked perfectly. I will be buying more to use in an upcoming gig where I have to mic a large choir.

  • MY-700 Mic Bar Many Uses...

The MY-700 is a sturdy, tough little mic bar with many useful options. In Stereo Mic'ing situations it is the best simple and easy to configure. But we have found many other uses. In one situation we had a Mic facing a guitarist while just beyond she used a old Hot Spot monitor all on the same stand. This group later bought several MY-700 Mic Bars. I use three of these Mic Bars. One is for "Whatever comes our way." Another is setup as the standard Stereo Mic configuration and we use it for mic'ing and record various live performances like choirs and plays... Besides providing Pro Sound gear we also do Disc Jockey work and have been in business for 30 years... The third bar is used as a three-way mic holder for live weddings. During the summer many of our clients have their weddings on the lakes here in Minnesota. We use 3 SM58's. The primary mic is for the Minister and two more at 90 degree angles off the primary for the Bride and Groom. After every wedding we always get the same positive responses. "We could here everything!" So many vows go unheard but not at our weddings. This has really been an added feature for our DJ Service and has increased profits quite a bit in the past three years. The variety of uses and configuration on the On-Stage MY-700 is only limited to seven microphones and your imagination.
