Was happy to see that I could put both basses on, take one off and the other stayed in place.

  • A nice addition for my small display!

Was skeptical at the low price. Others priced as high as $75+... What a nice surprise. Quality double guitar stand that is rock stable and made like it will really last. Good job, Guitar Center

  • Works well, but could be taller.

I have a PJ and Jazz electric basses as well as a acoustic bass. It makes it a lot easier switching between the electric basses but will not extend high enough to accommodate my Dean 5 string acoustic bass.

  • Great for the price.

I wanted a double stand that was one piece and collapsed flat to fit into the same road case as mic stands. This does that and also holds my guitars securely with padding at all contact points. It does seem like it would be easy to push over when there is only one guitar on it, but it doesn't seem in danger of falling over on its own. I keep it so the guitars are just barely off the ground and I've had no issues.

  • Nice Produxt!

Okay, so I did figure it out right away, but I do love this stand! I have a Fender Jazz Bass and an Alvarez Bass. They look great on that stand together! And it is so much easier for me to switch (depending on the song) from one to the other this way. Still learning how to balance them properly, but I wish that I could have done this months ago! Love it, and it looks great on our pulpit at church! Awesome!!!!

Will this work with a couple of V-style guitars?

    I don't think so.

Would it be stable with a heavy (HEAVY) banjo on one side and a medium-weight acoustic guitar on the other; for that matter would it be stable holding just the banjo. I like the fact that it doesn't have that dang U-shaped support on the bottom to get tangled in cables and straps.

    Open Reply - Ronald
The base is low enough that it will hold some really heavy instruments without tipping over.
