    Primarily when playing my Fender while sitting on a chair, guitar tends to slip. The guitar stool keeps my instrument secure and my leg in a comfortable position.

    It's a nice stand with a good grip and seems well constructed. It is a little narrow but it hasn't bothered me. My only complaint is that the lowest setting makes it a little tall for when I'm sitting in some seats (I'm 5 foot 10 inches, so not too short). Works good with my office chair and there it is definitely helpful. I would recommend it you have a tall enough chair.
