Well made and well priced

I shoot podium interviews after professional football games. Sometimes I need a shorter stand than the average height stand, and this one is perfect. Very nice powder coat on the base, ample number of rubber feet to keep it quiet, diameter of base big enough to ensure stability. Even at the regular price, this is a great value. If you need an adjustable height stand, this isn't for you; but if a fixed height is what you're looking for, this does the job well.

I needed a desk stand and one to occasionally mic a guitar or bass amp for performances. This stand is very well made, has 6 rubber feet, a heavy base, a steel shaft and positions a mic at the correct height for good pick-up. It disassembles easily and packs into my gig bag.

I bought this stand for the second to bring my total to 4 of them, since my first purchase of two they have improved the 4" peg and instead of plastic it is now metal! So I recommend this to anyone on a budget and it is perfect for podcasting! Only thing is they should have made the peg 6 to 8" and it would have been better!
Pretty good, for the price

For the price, it beats out all of its competition. Now, I find it a little on the short side. With a three inch peg, and a half inch base, this stand is barely tall enough to work with my MXL990. It would work fine with any hand-held style mic on a clip, but condensers with their bottom facing XLR jacks might have a problem. The pole can be unscrewed from the base for storage, and this is how it is shipped. The stand has a good weight to the base, although the pole is a sturdy plastic. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase
