Height-Adjustable Tripod Base Delivers Maximum Stability

With an adjustable-height tripod base spanning from 36" to 64", the MS7701B mic stand provides a stable foundation for microphones of any size or pickup pattern. The 23" tripod legs offer a wide, secure stance on even the most uneven stages or surfaces. For seated vocalists or acoustic instrument miking, the height adjusts lower, while the maximum 64" height accommodates standing vocalists and miking of taller sound sources like guitar amps or drum kits. Wherever the gig takes you, this road-ready mic stand delivers rock-solid support.

30" Boom Arm Enables Precise Mic Placement

Perfect for vocalists and instrumentalists alike, the included 30" boom arm provides enhanced flexibility in microphone positioning. The angle of the boom arm adjusts to capture the optimal spot, whether miking vocals, acoustic guitars, piano and more. With a boom arm, vocalists are free to move and emote without constraint, resulting in a more compelling performance. For miking amplifiers or drum kits, the boom arm reaches where tripod legs cannot for ideal tone and balance capture.

Collapsible Design for Easy Transport

Despite its exceptional stability and adjustability, the On-Stage Stands MS7701B Tripod Mic Stand with Boom collapses nearly flat for storage and transportation between gigs. No tools are required to adjust the height or angle of the boom arm and tripod base, so setup and takedown are quick and efficient. For vocalists and musicians on the move between rehearsals, studio sessions and live shows, the collapsible design ensures this high quality, full featured mic stand fits conveniently alongside the rest of your gear.

Quality Mic stand

This is a high quality mic stand. It is fully adjustable, and very stable. Remember that you must buy the mic clamp seperately, but they are relatively inexpensive. This stand is about as good as they get. great for shows.

Alright...

These stands work well for the first few months of having them. They can't handle the normal wear and tear of studio usage. They also, as do all tripod stands fall over easily if adding a heavy microphone to the top of the boom, so be careful. They work though.

I have used a pair of older On Stage boom stands for several years, and they have served me well. So, I thought that getting another On Stage stand was a safe bet. However, I was very disappointed with the quality of this stand. I bought two, and the threads on one of them stripped immediately upon initial set up. The other one does not tighten very well, and I'm afraid to tighten it too much, fearing that it will strip too. I doubt either of these stands will get much use. They're definitely not road worthy.

  • Not a huge fan of tripod stands but these seem adequate

I got this six pack of On Stage Stands with transport bag to make it easier on remote recording gigs and live sound reinforcement. They are light and easily transportable. Not exactly what I would call rock solid but they are solid enough to serve my purposes

  • Decent quality for price.

I’m very sorry. Your question is not clear. A stand doesn't effect the function of a microphone.

You would need an attachment for it, but it can work.
