Description

Novation's Launchkey Mini [MK3] is a feature-packed 25-key MIDI keyboard controller that provides musicians and producers with hands-on control of their DAW and virtual instruments. The Launchkey Mini [MK3] seamlessly integrates with popular DAWs like Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro and GarageBand using Novation's Launchkey Mini [MK3] app. Weighing under two pounds, this portable keyboard controller is ideal for creating and performing music on the go.

16 Velocity-Sensitive Pads for Triggering Loops and Samples

The Launchkey Mini [MK3] features 16 velocity-sensitive RGB pads that can be used to launch clips, trigger drum sounds or play melodic samples. Each pad illuminates to provide visual feedback and the brightness changes based on the velocity of your playing.

Eight Knobs for Tweaking Synth and Effect Parameters

Eight assignable knobs give you hands-on control of virtual instrument and effect parameters. Map the knobs to filter cutoff, envelope attack, reverb depth and more. The knobs send MIDI CC data so they can control anything that responds to MIDI continuous controller messages.

Transport Buttons for Controlling Your DAW

Dedicated transport buttons—including stop, play, record and loop—provide control over your DAW's transport functions. Loop, quantize and transpose buttons expand the Launchkey Mini [MK3]'s capabilities.

USB Bus-Powered for Maximum Portability

The Launchkey Mini [MK3] is USB bus-powered, so all you need is a single USB cable to connect to your computer. No power supply is required, making this the perfect portable companion for creating music wherever inspiration strikes. A free download of Ableton Live Lite is included to get you started making music right out of the box.

Warranty

All Novation products are built to the highest standards and are designed to provide many years of reliable performance. In the event of a manufacturing defect becoming evident during the warranty period, Novation will ensure that the product is repaired or replaced free of charge. The warranty for any product purchased on or after January 1, 2018. is a period of 36 months from the date of original purchase. The warranty period for products purchased on or prior to December 31, 2017, is 24 months from the date of original purchase.

A manufacturing defect is defined as a defect in the performance of the product as described and published by Novation. A manufacturing defect does not include damage caused by post-purchase transportation, storage or careless handling, nor damage caused by misuse.

While this warranty is provided by Novation, it is fulfilled by Novation’s distribution partner in the country in which you purchased the product. To contact Novation's local distribution partner regarding a warranty issue, go to https://stockists.novationmusic.com/stores/distributors/. They will advise you of the appropriate procedure for resolving the warranty issue. Note that many of the products returned under warranty are found not to exhibit any hardware fault at all. In the case of operational interruption, it’s worth checking other factors, such as cables, drivers, software settings, and the like, prior to returning your hardware.  if you experience technical issues.

In every case, you will need to provide a copy of the original invoice or store receipt to Novation’s local distribution partner. In the event that you are unable to provide proof of purchase, you should request a copy of your receipt. If you purchase a Novation product outside your normal country of residence, Novation’s distribution partner in your normal country of residence will not be able to honor this limited warranty, although you may request an out-of-warranty chargeable repair.

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights in the country of purchase.

    The quality is cheap, but expected at this price point. What isn't as expected is the frequency of ghost notes or the extremely limited "custom mode" where there is barely any mapping capability. I would use this as a travel controller JUST for Ableton Live, but the main reason I bought it is for the MIDI output for controlling other instruments - something it just is not fine tuned for…

    I always wanted a synthesizer ever since ELP Brain Salad Surgery. However at 17 years old they were very expensive plus I was just starting to play the organ. Fast forward from 1976 to 2021. This Launchkey mini is AMAZING! And the price is unbelievable for what it can do! in 1976 the same unit would be the size of a washer and dryer plus it would cost over 5k . I need to see if there are lessons or online instruction to be able to utilize this to its fullest potential. Great buy for the person who want to create.

    Great little controller! It's very small and portable but full featured. Easy and straightforward to use. The knobs can take some getting used to, but maybe it's just me. It's a very lightweight plastic, but the build quality seems to be good.

    The most functional affordable mini controller. Nearly full control over Ableton Live without setup, plug and play. Has great arpeggio controls, RGB pads, sustain pedal and midi out. Very well built, and portable.

    No, unfortunately it is not - Scripts for Ableton, Logic and Reason. All other DAWs through HUI i.e. Pro Tools, Reaper, Studio One.
