    This is a great pedal for getting a little boost to your sound and getting some crunch if you dig in. It doesn't offer lots of overdrive but a nice smooth fatness. The only con is it can get a little brassy but that's easily fixed with the turn of a few knobs.

    I put this side by side with my current favorite drive (MXR double double) and was able to dial in similar tones pretty quickly.

    Used in live performances. Instrument is a Fender Stratocaster with mid scoop pickups.played through a fender Blues Junior loaded with a celestion creamback. Great for country, works well when stacking overdrive's, 808 TS, and Carl Martin Plexi tone

    So, I actually do love this pedal. It's small, compact, looks cool. But, most importantly, it sounds great. I typically prefer to play straight through a quality tube amp. But, with this pedal, I make an exception. It really adds a great tonal array of over-driven sounds. 5 stars. 2 thumbs up.
