NUX
Description
The Nux Stageman AC50 50W 1x6.5" acoustic guitar combo amp is designed to accurately reproduce the natural sound of your acoustic guitar and vocals. The front control panel has 2 identical channels and both are optimized for microphones and acoustic guitar inputs respectively. The dual-input channels, on the NUX Stageman acoustic guitar amplifier, provide you with even more options for small gigs or studio recording.

Control Panel
Stageman’s chorus and reverb effects can be set individually on either of the 2 channels. The Instrument Channel chorus is a tasty vintage chorus with a smooth vibration and reverb effect ( plate reverb with 2 styles ) which you can dial-in at low-level short-decay reverb effect between 1 - 5 and high-level short-decay reverb effect between 5 - 10 parameters. The Mic Channel chorus is also a vintage chorus--but with less vibration. Its reverb effect is one of the best built-in hall reverbs you can find. It has super clean reflections intended to let you feel the architecture of a well-designed concert hall.

Rear Panel
Stageman has flexible outputs for both stage and recording applications, and is designed for your interface needs. XLR DI output and Line output jack can be used as an analog audio-out for recording or sending to a monitor. To accentuate your customized sound, Send/Return FX Loop inputs interface with any of your essential effects gear.

Speaker
It’s never easy to find the ideal speakers for instrument amplifiers, especially for the acoustic instruments. After hundreds of times of trying speakers from different suppliers, we eventually decided to customize our own speakers to capture the exact sound we wanted. We triumphed by combining two refined speakers ( one: 1 inch tweeter and one: 6.5 inch woofer ) into Stageman’s cabinet. Equipped with this creative 2-way high-sensitivity speaker system, Stageman delivers incredible sound dynamics. To top it off, our cabinet design features a beveled-angle carefully calculated to provide optimal live sound monitoring.

Stageman’s EQ and Effects offer a wide range of dynamic controls and, with the 2-way high-sensitivity speakers, you get on-the-fly studio quality sound, and the exact tone you need with the turn of a dial.

Bluetooth Panel and Stageman App
Both the Stageman App and Bluetooth Control Pedal are custom-designed to give you wireless versatility wherever you play. They’re also the keys to unlock Stageman’s hidden features: 20 banks of well-selected Drum sequences, a 40 Loop Station, and unlimited Overdubs.

I purchased as on stage monitor for my mandolin during performances. It has a line out to feed into house PA. I am finding it is powerful enough for small venues, clubs, coffee houses, bars, etc, that I can use as main amp and monitor on stage. It has nice clean and powerful sound which faithfully reproduces acoustic instruments like guitar and mandolin. It has been a game changer for me. Now I can hear myself clearly with the sound quality I like. The band likes it too.

I wanted an amp that sounded good with both my acoustic and electric guitars. I have a Fender acoustisonic 150 amp that sounds great with both and tried a Fender acoustic 100 (with the light wood sides). That amp sounded great with an acoustic guitar but the e, f, g bass notes were very "boomy" playing an electric through it, even with the bass turned all the way down on the Fender 100. This NUX amp sounds great, and the bass is not boomy. It's a small amp, only about 12 1/2 inches wide, and is heavy at about 22 pounds. The controls have a quality feel to them. The " wood grain" case looks attractive, but it is a thick vinyl wrap. It comes with a wireless blue tooth battery powered beige/yellowish 4 button foot pedal to control the built in reverb, chorus, looper and 20 different types of canned drums. I however prefer to keep in plugged in with a 5 v usb power supply so I don't have to bend down to turn it off. The foot pedal buttons are not silent like some other pedals, just a slight click when pressed. There is an app for your phone available that uses blue tooth also, it duplicates what the foot pedal can do, and is easier to use for some functions than the foot pedal, for instance the drum pattern is just a number in the display on the foot pedal, but the app has a description as well as the number. A nice feature is you can control the volume of the loop and the drums with the foot pedal or the app. I've not been able to use the app and the pedal at the same time - Might be an either/or situation since they both connect to the amp via blue tooth. I'm very pleased with this amp - it's small enough to put on a stand above the floor, it's loud enough and very clean sounding - no hums/buzzes/or clicks/pops when turning on and off. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a small amp.

Advertisements say you can plug in 2 guitars, however channel 2 has so much less clarity and power. So, is it really supposed to be used for a mic?
