NUX MG30 Multi-Effects and Amp Modeler Effects Pedal Black

I just got this today. I immediately updated the firmware as I had been advised in online forums and the product manual. It was an easy process. This unit comes with a power supply, a foot switch, and a USB-C cable. I originally tried a Boss ME-90 but found it cumbersome to use and the presets largely useless. It also did not come with a power supply. It was nice that it could run on batteries but that's about all I liked. I returned it and got the NUX MG-300, which sounded great, but was lacking in connection options and for some reason has no power button. You have to unplug the power adapter to turn it off. I returned it and got the MG-30. It's about twice the price of the 300, but I think it's a better value given its capabilities, sturdier construction, included accessories, bigger screen, more navigation controls, etc. So far I'm very impressed and would highly recommend this pedal.

Many options for the price and excellent marshall and mesa amp sounds. The provided IRs for cabs are mostly mediocre but using custom IRs makes a huge difference. Sound quality is like many reviews on youtube. Cleans are stellar and effects are abundant and sound very analog in quality (suprisingly) and without stealing the guitar tone character. Some patches included are okay but you will need to make your own depending on your audio setup. I have tried boss, and zoom multieffect units somewhat close but above this price range that I eventually sold or returned.
