The NUX B-6 wireless system allows the Saxophone players to move freely without worrying about stepping away too far from their microphone stand. With an operation range of 65 feet, the NUX B-6 wireless system for Saxophone can significantly improve your performance convenience. It delivers professional, high-resolution 24-bit/44.1kHz audio with a frequency response range of 20Hz - 20kHz. The transmitter of NUX B-6 comes with a flexible yet sturdy rubber-wrapped clamp mechanism. It can be attached to the bell of different types of Saxophones firmly. Each of the three mode comes with an optimal EQ curve for the Soprano Saxophone, the Alto Saxophone and the Tenor Saxophone. To switch among different modes, simply press the POWER/SCENE button on the transmitter. Inherited from the NUX B-5RC, the NUX B-6 wireless system for Saxophone also comes with a storage case that can charge both the transmitter and receiver simultaneously, providing up to 15 hours of extra battery life.

    The audio of this mic is superb. But......crazy feature shuts the mic off after 10 minutes. So if your sax player plays another instrument you may have issues. BUT the real issue is that the receiver will shut off as well and the switch to turn it back on is on the SIDE of the unit. IF you have this plugged into a mixing console with the other channels full you CANNOT get your finger on the switch to turn it back on..........not fun......so I put my receiver on a short mic cable so I can reach the switch...........how on earth can an engineer design such a great sounding mic but completely screw up the functionality of it?????

    Great sax mic! Sounds much less compressed than others I have used. Very little key noise. Charging is ver easy with the case charger.

    The B-6 is, yes,an XLR and can probably be used with your cable. I'm not familiar with your personal hardware but it seems like you should be fine.
