good case NOT FOR Gibson

Bought this case for my Gibson Faded Flying V, hoping it would fit. It fit the V portion fine, but needed another couple of inches near the neck joint without modification. Seems well built, though, but DID NOT FIT MY GIBSON.

This case fit my 2021 Epiphone Prophecy Flying V like a glove. It is a cheaper made hardshell case . I think for most people it would be fine unless you're a touring musician, then you might want something a little better built. This is one of the lowest priced V cases I found for a hard shell case.

  • I would buy this again for another flying v

IT DOES ITS FUNCTION AND PROTECTS GUITAR. MY FLYING V WAS AFTER MARKET I HAD TO STRIP COVER AND RE CUT FOAM TO FIT THE BODY. FITS WELL NOW.

  • You get what you pay for...if this were cheaper.

Looks fine, it'll do the job, but for the price ($99), I shouldn't have to chisel out extra room just to place my Warmoth Flying V shape in the groove (the neck joint is the issue, the body fits snug), or have to use something to glue the corners back together. I don't know if the corners on the lid ripped open, or someone used a box-knife too deep and nicked it, because it's a pretty clean cut, but quality control sure missed that one. Luckily, my headstock isn't the large Gibson V head, so the length fits, which was my concern when ordering. Worth getting if you're on a desperate budget, but if you have the extra $60 or so, aim for better.

I’m sorry, I don’t know. I don't have one to check. You will need to measure your guitar. The case dimensions are: 46-1/2" H (from top of head to wing tip) x 16-1/2" W (from wing tip to wing tip) x 1-1/2" D
