These 14-gauge Speakon-to-1/4-inch cables use authentic Neutrik NL2FC Connectors and are RoHS compliant. For professional applications, Neutrik Speakon connectors allow you to plug straight from an amp to a speaker with increased power transfer.

A Speakon connector is designed with a locking system that may be used for soldered or screw-type connections. Speakon connectors are a higher current-carrying alternative to TRS connectors, two-pole twist lock, and XLR connectors for loudspeakers. Speakon connectors lock into their sockets with a twisting motion, making them significantly less prone to disconnection than standard TRS plugs. Speakon connectors are fully shielded from human touch, preventing electrical shock risks associated with high power audio amplifiers and unshielded connections.

Dy-No-Mite Speaker Cable

I own 8 pairs of these cables (4 pair of 50' and 4 pair of 25'). I use the different lengths as needed depending on the stage size and set-up. I have used the same cables every Friday and Saturday night for the past 7 years without one glitch from any of them. They perform equally well on Front Mains, Subs and Monitors. The flexability of these cables can't be beat. They lay down flat and stay where you put them, even on outside gigs in cold weather. Their durability is also a nice feature. These cables have been walked on, drove on, rained on, pulled on and abused by the sound crew. Still no nicks or cuts in them. And both the 1/4" Mono and Speakon end connectors hold as tight as the day I bought them. They have paid for themselves many times over.

Atrocious

I ordered 2 cables, and regretfully only tested the one and leaving the second as a backup. As it turns out, the second cable was DOA and failed on me at a gig. I will be sure never to gamble on this bargain product again.
