Pretty good stand.

Pretty good stand I can't complain. I'm not exactly a stand aficionado knowing all the who's em and whats it when it comes to stands but I have to say this stand is up to the task for me as a home recorder. The screws are on the stand are tight, they won't wobble and the stand its quiet sturdy. As for live performances I can't really say because it hasn't been lucky enough to do any but specifically for this review I have given it the hefty kicks and possible wobbles a live performance may incur and I watch in fear as it twirls round and round but I have to say its never fallen on me. Good stuff guys, its worth every penny.

Good Value

I cannot give this stand 5 stars if I am comparing it to other stands that cost more. However, this stand is a very good value at the price it is offered. I am not sure how it would hold up to heavy gigging, but for having around for use in one location and being handled without much aggressiveness, it is a good deal.

The stand works but when you put the boom on it, this base will not hold the stand upright!!

Tipsy when fully extended. But I like it . Just needs more weight to be perfect.

I bought one of these a few years ago and needed another. I like the cast-iron base. There's less to trip over onstage, or in a recording situation. It just feels more stable than a tripod stand. I picked up in the store, and the base was missing from the shipement. The guy helping me checked to see if the base was shipped separately. It wasn't, so he grabbed one that was in stock, and sent me on my way. Very cool...no hassle. Very pleased with the product and the service.

The stand worked for a couple months but once I was tightening the screw that raises the stand, it broke. I'm trying to find other stands that don't have the same issue and it's a bit tough. If you do buy a stand, I'm sure there is better and maybe a bit pricey out in the market. This stand, unfortunately, is just not it.

I use this stand for gigs and it is a good value for the money , although a bit light. i will probably purchase one a bit heavier or more stable next time. But overall it is a good value.

You would need the correct mount attached to the Blue Yeti but it will work.
