Good as any

These strings are as good as any made. better than some. Doesn't break as much as Ernie Ball or SIT. I can get 10 packs for the price of two packs of the name brand. If you are buying high priced strings you are throwing money away. I have played every kind of string made, There is no differance.

Quality reflects the price

I normally use Ernie Ball Slinky strings but I bought a five pack of these because for a pack they almost cost as much as a set of EB strings, but when I put the strings on my guitar, I did notice a slight decline in sound quality. After I practiced with them and used a string cleaner, the tone got a little better, or it grew on me. For the price, these strings sound great, but that's not saying much because these strings are not even $3, but for $3 strings, I would use these as an emergency backup during a show when you don't want to open up a whole new pack of great strings. It's also worth noting these strings are not good to use for multiple tunings. I wanted to tune to Eb tuning but my high E broke.

This is actually the first time I've tried these strings. So far I've put them on my acoustic/electric (bought from MF a few yrs ago, by the way.) & my 335.(unfortunately 10s are too light for her, so I bought a couple sets of 11s). So far they sound just as good as any other strings I've used in the past 50 yrs, of playing. The price is awesome. The quality seems to be there, they sound fine, so I'm happy. My regret is I couldn't find a set of 11-52 by Musicians Choice, I could have bought 5 sets for what I paid for 2. I'm no string snob, as long as they do the job, I'll buy them. (The brand I used since 1985 has suddenly become too expensive, around $12 a set). If you're on a budget, these strings should do quite nicely.
