Description

The Musicians Gear Double Pop Filter is a pro-level split screen pop blocker that removes unwanted "P" and "B" consonant plosives by providing open space between the two screens. The first screen diffuses the air that causes plosive consonants, the open space between the screens disperses air pressure, and the pop filters second screen disperses the air and removes any remaining plosive consonants. The Musicians Gear Double Pop Filter features a sophisticated design that removes any air pressure and is very effective in filtering wind-caused plosives.

Works Like a Charm

This pop filter is lightweight, and works far better than I expected. I re-recorded a song, and you can really tell the difference in the "p's","b's" and most of the "s's". For the money this is the way to go.

I would not buy this again

It does provide good protection against plosives, however the wire adjustment isn't great. It doesn't stay in position and bends under the weight of its own gravity. you have to arrange it a certain way so that when slumps down it's in front of the mic. It isn't the most durable piece of equipment either. After my cat decided it would be fun to run around like a maniac in my practice room, the mic stand fell with the pop filter still attached and the mesh on one side of the filter detached from the rim. it didn't tear from it it just came loose. I guess mesh isn't very strong to begin with but I didn't expect it to break from just a fall. it will protect against plosives but as far as everything else goes I would look into another product

    I use it to record vocals with the band, Good filter easy to install and blocks allot of unwanted sound, I recommend to use it while recording if you are involved in a band and not jamming cause it takes away allot of the sound of your vocals and if you don't have loud monitors they won't hear you very well
