I used this wrench on my Taylor 810 and my friend's Taylor 314. Fit the screws on the truss rod coverage and the truss rods themselves. Couldn't ask for a better tool for this purpose.

  • Perfect For Truss Rod, Not So Good For Removing Rod's Plate

This is perfect for adjusting the truss rod of a Taylor Big Baby -- the wrench is just right for the rod's bolt. Mine is a 2010 model. The screwdriver, however, is fitted with a bit that is too large. While it will fit just enough to remove the screws on the truss rod cover plate, be careful or you'll strip the screws. Better yet, look in your tool kit for a much smaller Phillips head. Maybe the newer Big Babies have larger screws? Anyway, Taylor didn't include a wrench when I bought my Big Baby new, so I'm glad I found this one.
