MORLEY PEDALS - LETS TALK SWITCHLESS

Morley 20/20 Bad Horsie Wah

Description
Morley brings the legendary Bad Horsie wah to a new generation of players with the 20/20 Bad Horsie Wah. This innovative pedal packs Morley's signature effect into a pedalboard-friendly enclosure and enhances it with a contour mode for crafting your perfect wah tone. The 20/20 Bad Horsie Wah features Morley's renowned electro-optical design, which replaces problematic potentiometers with an optical circuit for a smooth, consistent sweep and years of reliability. A buffer circuit prevents tone loss from long cable runs, ensuring your natural tone shines through. Whether you're a shredder, funkster or blues hound, the 20/20 Bad Horsie Wah delivers the control and inspiration to take your playing to new heights.
Dual Modes Provide a World of Tonal Possibilities
The 20/20 Bad Horsie Wah gives you not one but two distinct wah voices. The Bad Horsie mode produces Morley's famous throaty wah tone, perfect for expressive solos and rhythm work. The contour mode offers an adjustable frequency range so you can fine-tune the pedal to your liking. Simply turn the contour knob to increase treble for a "quacky" vintage sound or decrease treble for a subtle, mellow sweep. A level knob provides up to 20dB of clean boost in either mode, allowing you to balance your levels or push your amp into overdrive.
Optical Circuitry Means Years of Reliable Performance
At the heart of the 20/20 Bad Horsie Wah is Morley's innovative electro-optical design, which uses an optical sensor and emitter rather than a traditional potentiometer. This optical circuit is smooth, quiet and durable, providing consistent performance night after night. The optical design also features Morley's spring-loaded switchless activation so you can engage and disengage the wah simply by stepping on and off the pedal. No more accidentally hitting a switch mid-solo.
Roadworthy and Ready to Rock
Morley built the 20/20 Bad Horsie Wah to handle the rigors of the road and the demands of the stage. Its cold-rolled steel housing is virtually indestructible and the quick clip battery door makes changing batteries a breeze even in low light. Glow-in-the-dark details, including the treadle pad and logo, provide visibility on unlit stages. And with a buffer circuit to maintain your tone, the 20/20 Bad Horsie Wah is a wah you can depend on to inspire greatness at every show.

I usually like Morley pedals, but I think this one is a little overhyped. The contour mode is kind of a joke as you turn it up to thicken the sound...the highs shriek in an uncomfortable way that it's not usable. The level control BARELY adds any volume. How is this a best seller??? My Morley Skeleton way is waaay better.

I had to original Bad Horsie but sold it some years since my brother hid it from me all the time a practice..🤪 This new 20/20 Bad Horsie is even better! Even smoother sounding and now with the new contour feature. Definitely recommend this one for anyone looking for their next wah pedal.!"

Awesome wah pedal has the right sound. Mostly owned cry baby wah pedals before this one and I like the fact you don't have to step on it first

I own a Helix which has about 10 different wah models. They're OK, but they don't sing like this Morley does. The best feature for me is that it automatically turns on and off when you move the pedal, and it's spring loaded so it returns to off position. So you can effortlessly add a wah without missing a beat.
