Not lovin it

Not lovin it, I didn't find this to be a replacement for actual pedals. When i compared the sounds to the actual pedal counterpart it was very lacking. Not at all a substitute or replacement for effects pedals. Going to return it.
Love it!

The Red Truck from Mooer is really cool design and the effects are high-quality. An all-in-one pedal solution except for perhaps a harmonizer or volume pedal - and no power supply (thus the 4 stars). If you don't already own a bunch of individual pedals, or find them bulky to carry, this would be a great portable solution. You can add your own pedals to it... but you won't need Boost, Distortion, Phaser, Chorus, Flanger, Delay, or Reverb! And each effect has plenty of knob controls, which are my preference over the single LCD solution offered with most multi-effect boards. An added feature is that all 5 of the selection switches can be used to each save any combination of effects when in 'P'reset mode. Small in size and weight, it sits securely on the floor - no need to velcro to a pedalboard system. More for the electric player, but I can play my acoustic/electric through it for the Reverb, Delay, and Mod sounds, and electric for all the effects. If you want portability, versatility, and visual controls this is the PERFECT all-in-one-box solution. Comes with a tight-fitting cloth case but no power supply. You'll need to purchase a 9V-1A. Highly recommended!
Compact, quick, easy.

I have only had it for @10 days now. I have used it for 3 live performances. 2 @ church lead guitar. 1 @ acoustic show at an outside street fest. It did what I needed. I'm still learning it.

After years of lugging around a heavy and bulky pedalboard, the prospect of a small single unit that could fit in a guitar case sounded particularly attractive. I'd never owned any Mooer products before, but I had heard good things about them in many of the stompbox forums. I'd watched every review video I could find and couldn't see a downside. Also, I'd been looking at the Tech 21 Fly Rig boxes and couldn't get up the nerve to "pull the trigger" on one. I'd recently received a GC gift card and decided to give the Red Truck a try. Boy, was I impressed! The unit comes in a really nice little case; it is about the size of a flute case. I was rather surprised that a unit with this price point didn't come with a power supply, but (like most of us) I have a drawer full of wall warts so wasn't a show-stopper. The unit is very well made, and the switches are dead quiet. I like the light-up knobs on the individual effects. I'm playing it through a Tech 21 PowerEngine 60, which is a powered cabinet, using the Red Truck as my preamp. The sound is really quite good. The effects are well laid-out and easy to tweak. I really like the fact that you can store preset effects combinations. And, it fits in a guitar case so there's nothing else to schlep around. If anything happened to it, I would definitely get another. I've owned/used a number of multi-effects boxes in the past, from Korg, Boss, Digitech, and Line6, and this one is dead simple to use and sounds great! Two enthusiastic thumbs-up!!
