best cable ever.
well, my parents bought me this cable recently because my livewire cable broke. my dad knows a lot about guitars because he's a guitarist himeself. he told me this cable offers the best quality and has no feedback. it even has a lifetime warranty so whenever it breaks, you can basically get a new one for free. this cable is a bit pricy but its totally worth buying. it works great on bass too. i actually use this for my bass.

Cables on Clearance = Heavily Used and not worth discount
Clearance description of the Clearance monster cables doesn't point out that they have been potentially heavily used. The discount is not close to the amount of equivalent use and damage that was on the cable that I received. Maybe plenty of the cables that they send out are worth it, but it is a gamble that you are going to receive one that looks worse than all of your other cables. I have had cables for 8 years that don't look at bad as the one I received. The real potential condition should be made clear. Request for a return or swap was rejected. If I knew this was a used item, I wouldn't have taken the risk of the clearance reutnr policy.

Great at first but...

I bought the 21 foot cable.Great at first but after only 6 months of use,the cable began to kink and as a result became noisy. I found the cable to be way too stiff.I'm not hard on my equipment, nor did I abuse this cable. What's worse is usually when this happens I can shorten up the cable and re solder the ends, but no can do.The ends are encased in a hard plastic filler. So basically just toss a $50 cable in the trash. The warranty is a joke unless you live in California.Would have cost me another $50+ to ship the cable back to Monster Cable. In conclusion don't buy this cable. There are much better out there for the money.Unless you enjoy throwing money away,be my guest.

Great quality cable. I have a Monster Standard cable and compared the two - on electric guitar I noticed no difference - both were clear, no noise, with identical tone. I then tried it with my bass guitar, and I think there is a slightly better sound with the gold cable as opposed to the standard. It gives slightly richer, more defined low bass notes. Its subtle, but worth it in my opinion. Great quality construction that I anticipate will last many years with no problems.
Disappointment - No gain and treble

Really disappointed. Recently purchased a 21 feet M rock cable and for my surprise the gain was cut and also the treble, probably I got one with defect, but anyway, monster never again , I changed to my beaten and damaged old planet waves and the tone was back again...
