Mojotone Solderless Strat Standard Guitar Wiring Harness

Description
No bulky plugs or add-ons are needed for the solderless harness to work. Just strip back your existing wires from your pickups and guitar, insert them into our solderless connector, and you're done.
Note:
Guitars made overseas may require you to enlarge the holes for the larger US spec pots to fit. You will also need to change the metric knobs to inch sized 24-knurl push-on knobs and the switch tip.

grounding lug twisted off with no pressure, and had a bad pot waste of money.

I used this harness to replace the original that came with the guitar that I've had since 1985, a Japanese Squier Strat. Once I got it in, it definitely improved the sound. However, there were a few problems: the pots were too big for the holes in the body, even though I was assured by the tech who answered my question that they would fit. The wires were also a bit too short and I had to make up the difference with solder. Also, I'm guessing that since the original harness was made in Japan, the knobs and pots were metric, and these replacements are standard, which means that the original knobs don't fit. No biggie, and like I said, it definitely sounds better now, but people should be aware of these discrepancies.

I've got an early-80s Japanese made Squier Strat...do you know if the pots will fit in it without enlarging the holes? Pretty sure it's from the first run of Squiers, i.e., not a "Bullet." Thanks!
This will fit.
