Modulus Guitars

Description

The Modulus Funk Unlimited FB4 Bass Guitar has a uniquely shaped double-cutaway alder body, space-age carbon-fiber neck, compound-radius composite fingerboard, pearl dot top position markers, and bidirectional relief adjusting rod. The Basslines MM pickup is controlled by an Aguilar active preamp.

In the quest for neck-snapping, groove-making tone, the Modulus FB4's carbon fiber neck will give you a huge head start. The neck is a lightweight, ultrarigid D-shaped shell made from dozens of layers of hand-formed, aerospace-grade, epoxy-impregnated carbon fibers. It delivers unclouded, even tone with abundant low and high harmonics. Because carbon fiber telegraphs attack more quickly than conventional wood necks, the Modulus bass also aids articulation and clearly pronounces attack dynamics. A nonstructural relief adjusting system adjusts in both directions, allowing for underbow and overbow. And your maintenance woes are over. Carbon fiber is totally impervious to the ravages of moisture and temperature changes. From fit to finish, the neck on the Modulus Funk Unlimited FB4 is pure bass voodoo.

I wanted this bass since i first started playing and after the first time i heard flea play the bass! It has incredible tone and power. I also love how fast the graphite neck is.I have the blue metallic sparkle model, and have owned this bass for 3 years and love it.(not more than my american made fender jazz tho haha) but the only thing that comes with this bass is the price. but sometimes you get what you pay for!

I happened to have played this bass last week. It belongs to a friend. I love the feel of it and the sound. Awesome bass. It felt a bit heavier than I am used to but other than that, I highly recommend it.

I personally do not own this bass, but i know a few players who do. the funk series of modulus has great tone and comfortabilty. The way all modulus basses are set up are awesome and they are comfortable to play. The tone quality and the quality from the bass itself are well worth the money with this bass

This bass is actually the tone that you hear in your head. The craftsmanship of this bass is outstanding, and the carbon-fiber/graphite neck is actually the most comfortable neck I have ever played. You can move FAST on this bass. The action can be as low as you want, mine is set at 1/32 and it still sounds AMAZING. The Aguilar OBP-3 in mine really pushes an amazing tone and punch. You can get many different sounds out of this bass. Turn up the mid and treble and you have a dirty tone, turn up the bass you have a great vintage tone. Easily one of the best basses I have ever played.
