Sounds a bit tin. Finger picking sounds music boxish. But cool to horse around with. Tuners hold tune as well as any ukulele I've had

This uke is surprisingly good for its price. It plays notes pleasantly, the instrument does not feel flimsy, it will stay in tune with some time played- as is true for most instruments that don't use steel strings. It's something I can take with me easily and play around with and that's really what I wanted. I have played many different ukes below the $100 and this is the one that I like the most. The notes are not big but they don't sound tinny either. It has geared tuners so the strings will stretch some but the tuners won't wimp out on you. Yes, this ukulele was made to sell by its graphic imo, the difference between this and a lot of other ukes with images/special designs at a low price is that this one is not wildly pitchy, its bridge is uniform, there isn't fret buzz or ghost notes. It was made to be thrown into the car or on a boat and be playable, and it is.

  • Semi-decent for a starter uke, killer finish

I picked this up on a whim to decorate my studio. I am stoked about my purchase and all my clients love messing with it on downtime. My only main pickle is the fact that this uke is not set up for service, so my little issues with it are as they are. This is perfect for those who want to learn, and for children who might enjoy a musical toy. Otherwise, it's not much use in any other application.

Very fun to play once the strings stretch out. It takes a while for them to stretch but, it's well worth it!
