Loving this bass. I'm a paid musician for 3 churches and a on call studio musician as well.
Great tone and playability. Excellent value.

I'm a long time 4 string player who gigs regularly, and was eager to add a nice 6 string to my arsenal. My wife got this for me for Christmas and it was a great gift! This Mitchell 6 string delivers the goods with versatile tonal options from the humbuckers and preamp/active EQ. I can dial in a nice jazz fusion tone or a rock tone like Michael Anthony in Van Halen (think early 90s with the Sting Ray). This bass has features and looks of basses costing twice as much! Mitchell did a great job with this product, and I'm so glad to play this bass.

How much does the bass weigh? I have a LTD 6 string that weighs 19 pounds and it's just too much for playing shows 3-4 times a weekend every week.
This one is 11lbs.
