Wonderful Guitar at a Great Price!

I went to the Whitehall, PA Guitar Center on 09/01/17 to look at the Ibanez slim body AEG acoustic electric 12 string, the Martin 12 string and the Taylor 12 string. Then the sales associate showed me the Mitchell. It was on sale and well played because the strings were dead but the tone from this instrument was still like a chorus of angels singing. Hands down this guitar sounded better to me than any of the others I went to try. This guitar has a spruce top and I believe it has a solid mahogany back and sides. When you play it you can feel the top and back resonate with deep rich tones. The highs are phenomenal and the mid range and base tones are rich and luxurious. The nice folks at guitar center included a set of Martin SP phosphor bronze strings which make my new guitar sing. Great purchase, great service and great sound. Thank you Mike and Jon at Whitehall Guitar Center!

Don't buy here

Not happy, damaged item ( not from shipping, shipping packages was in great shape) pics of my guitar ( with matching numbers) showed no damage and 3 of your competters has this same item new for the same price, all reviews for THIS guitar were positive. Contacted customer service to see about an exchange, all they offered was a refund. Strongly recommend doing what I have to do,and should have did in the first place, go to a competitor

I've had mine 7 years. I have played it in standard tuning since I've owned it and no signs of any lifting. I play it every Sunday and practices during the week. No complaints. A sweet sound, it plays well, and the electronics are good.

Purchases this guitar out of the blue. Put new strings on it and it sounds great, very low action with no buzz. A must for "Hotel California," "Sunrise" (Big Star), "We Just Disagree," and of course "Wish You Were Here."
