Mighty Mite MM2935 Stratocaster Replacement Neck with Maple Fingerboard and Large Headstock

'Part is exactly as described and will fit my application. For final finish I will take this neck to a shop for PLEK fret leveling and mating the neck to the body, and mounting the bridge. These are quality parts, and I do have some tools/skills but the whole purpose of building a custom guitar is to get exactly what I want. I believe this part helps in building a great foundation.

I bought this to replace the neck on my Squier Strat, in an effort to make it worth playing! Well it worked out great! The improvements: -The nut width on the squier neck was only 40mm, as opposed to this mighty mite neck which has a 42mm width. (42mm is pretty standard) -The finish is super smooth, so if you're a shredder, this will be a big upside. -This neck has 22 frets, as apposed to the squier neck, which had 21. I like to have that extra fret for modern playing. The downside: -The frets do stick out a little bit, but it wasn't a problem for me to get used to. Overall, this is a steal for the price.

Neck and head grain is beautiful. Neck needed a slight tweak, out of the box while checking but it's perfect enough to be sent out for the custom head painting. Can't wait to get it back from the paint shop and get my custom strat together. Obviously the final check will be when the neck is on the body and the tension is applied with the strings, but with the reputation I'm not assuming any issues.

My online purchase of this replacement neck was the best choice I ever made for my Fender Strat! The neck is silky smooth & made of great quality. I was very impressed with the fret job as well as how smooth they were at the edge of the neck. My guitar was originally stock with a rosewood fingerboard but I felt that a Strat should have a good maple one. I also like the fact that the frets are smaller because the guitar came stock with jumbo frets which are okay but not always the best choice especially if you're looking to reduce any buzzing. The one thing I was worried about was the overall look of the neck once it arrived. Some maple fingerboards can vary in look depending on grain of the wood but fortunately I received a beauty! All in all I am extremely pleased with my purchase & after a pro installation & set up I'm ready to rock!

It's a good neck. The finish was nicely done, and everything was done neatly. The only flaw with this neck is that the neck was slightly too small for my neck pocket in the body. It is very good for the money though, I recommend it for a cheap but good upgrade for a squier or so. And the wood is from Canada, which is another plus!
