This feels like a real fender neck and is almost half the price. It looks good and feels good. How ever the frets could use a little more sanding but not as much as a squire neck or something les than. #sweepstakes

Apparently I got the last one like in the world, when I ordered it the agent said it was the last one, and sure enough, the text changed to 'backordered', It came in like 4 days, not a thing wrong with it, frets were not sharp, the wood grain was excellent, the grain on the rosewood neck was excellent, very smooth back, just a stellar piece of work. I am not surprised though. I had bought a Mighty Mite replacement neck for my Strat, and same deal. Not to mention the fact I got the one with the ebony fretboard, man, I can't say enough about ebony, and it was almost the same price as the rosewood, just a tad over 160 bucks, and hundreds less than the Fender proper neck. This neck even has a stamp on on the back that says "Lic by Fender", so what more can you say. Had to drill the 4 holes for the tuning pegs, and the hole for the string button for the D and g string, and good to go.

I just recevied and put this item on my squier VM jazz bass and let me tell you the sound blows me away! It now has that nice biting sound I wanted. This is now my number one bass! It sounds better than my MIM precision bass. The neck arrived straight and true with no sharp frets. The quality of the neck is just as good as the fender MIM necks if not better. If you want a better sound out of your bass get this neck!
