Good Illumination

The "Mighty Bright" hammerhead light lives up to its name. It puts out a good field of light and the light is very bright. I've found it to be a big help in reading music and notes from my music stand. I haven't tried to really gauge the amount of time I've gotten from each set of batteries, but I would estimate you get around eight to ten hours' worth of batter life, which is not bad considering the amount of light this provides. Over all I'm very pleased with this product and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Don't buy this product

i was hoping this was going to be much bigger, but tried to use it anyway. It broke on the first use. The power button stopped working so it couldn't be turned off. It's cheap piece of plastic. Not something that should be considered "equipment"...more like a dollar store toy.

Unit has two level's of brightness. After two weeks the high setting stopped working. The two settings, now both display the same low level light.

  • A Great Addition to the Gig Bag

Plenty bright for reading music. Easy to use, easy to adjust as needed. Need to place the head as far from the music horizontally as possible to provide coverage on two pages.

How do you charge the batteries, or do you have to replace them frequently. Is there a charging cable to wall socket?
