Mic Eze M-2 Adjustable Microphone Clip

Perhaps these have improved since the last review but I swear by these clips. As was said, these will hold the mic and nothing more; that part is true. These will absolutely do that and that's all that's needed, really. There are different models that hold the mic in different positions and they are essential for mic'ing a piano when you can't have the lid open. I have four of them and use them on a weekly basis and have never had one break on me so durability is not an issue. I have had them shed their bolts but that's down to working too quickly on my end. If you unscrew them too far, the bolts will fall of and they're small. If you're careful (or more careful than I), that won't happen. I simply couldn't do my job without them and there's nothing else out there that will perform this function.

I bought this clip to add a goose neck extender and a mic clip for a second mic on the same stand. The goose neck is simply too heavy for this clip. This mic clip won't hold the weight. It never did work for me. This clip is a pretty light duty piece of equipment that will only hold a mic clip and nothing more. It also has a limited range of motion for positioning the mic which is also a problem. It's pretty flimsy and not worth the price. I recommend choosing some other product.
