Meris LVX Modular Delay System Effects Pedal White

The left mono circuit is defective out of the box, even did a factory firmware update and reset. Had to use the R. Channel to even test the unit. I'm not happy at all with this, the UI also sucks, its menu after menu, I don't care how powerful this thing can be, if it takes me 2 hours to dial in a sound, its junk to me. I'm going to be returning this.

(Just entering the world of getting paid to play) I play 6/6 cross strung harp..it's been a challenge to find an effects unit that my instrument doesn't overwhelm with feral frequencies. At first I want sure meris lvx was up to the task but my dyslexic brain proved to be the issue and now we have nice compatable workflow. I love being able to organize my presets on my macbook and load them onto my lvx. Patchstorage dot com has a whole section for user created meris lvx presets to be explored and downloaded.. or upload your own creations. I have the basic understanding of sound design, effects elements, and the vision to do so, I believe I can create pretty much any kind of sound. The downloadable user manual is concise and informative with a glossary. It didn't take too much research to fill in the gaps of my knowlede to be able to grasp the potential here. Looper is handy- tuner is amazing (I have 51 strings to tune) Level controls are a little tricky- I would go through the really loud presets and adjust preamp stage if applicable- or have an aux volume control within reach. Exp pedal is fun to include in creating and playing- lots of options- and it can sequence- like the way a strymon night sky does? But a differnt UI I havent totally grasped this yet but I will get to it. Check out the youtube creator called @theguacamolexplosion. He has some nice presets on patch storage also and demos some interesting things that can be done with lvx. Anywho- im all in . It's been two weeks and I've spent alot of time with her but she's been a joy to work with. Am looking forward to my first gig with her June 1st at Untamed pagan featival in the mountains of Colorado. Cheers to all

This is a great pedal if you've ever wanted to change the most minute detail in your delay sound. It might turn off players who want to have an array of good sounds right from the jump because you will need to build most of your sounds from scratch and will require some time investment. All in all this is a great pedal if you have experience creating your own sounds and enjoy tweaking parameters on pedals.
