I use this when playing unplugged every weekend. It's among the numerous itemsI have purchased from the Guitar Center along with bringing others to the Langhorne PA store to buy their guitars. I live at that place !!

Great craftsmanship! Feels comfortable and sound warm and full. I had a dreadnought before this and this is a better fit. The hpl isn't my favorite but you know it will be durable. It stays in tune and had good intunation from the rack. I would recommend!

High E string buzzing at 11th and up fret

I purchased the DX2E X ser spc Spruce a week ago. It played well at the store where the acoustic guitars are in a humidity controlled environment. I took it home and noticed the high E string buzzing as I ran up the fret board and then at 11, 12 and 13th fret, the note stayed the same and sounded horrible. I brought it back and I was told that this is the 3rd guitar brought back today. I exchanged it for another Martin DX2E spruce where again sounded fine. Later that evening the guitar did the same thing. I noticed that the high e string was slightly lower the rest of the strings. I see no reason to pay a luthier to set up a brand new guitar. And I can't help the humidity changes. The saddle is most likely the issue. Sadly, I really liked the sound this Martin produced.
I would buy this again
