Martin Titanium Core Strings

Description
The Process
Martin employs a unique and proprietary winding process for their Titanium strings that produces strings like nothing else on the market. This process allows them to use materials that have never been used before to make guitar strings. This is a slow and methodical mechanical process that ensures the most consistent and securely wrapped string, an attribute that affects every aspect of the string’s playability, endurance and tone. The improved coupling and consistent gap between the round core wire and the wrap wire results in superb intonation. Like fine wine, this winding process takes a long time, but we know every set is worth the wait!
The Core
The name says it all! Martin’s Titanium Core strings use true titanium for the core wire of this new breed of strings. And you can only get them from Martin! The Titanium core wire is round, not hex, and titanium is more flexible than steel, providing a very comfortable playing experience while remaining strong and durable. The plain strings are also unique to this product, as they are cryogenically treated stainless steel. The cryogenic treatment protects the string and brings out more brilliance in the stainless steel, while the stainless steel itself provides enhanced flexibility and comfort.
The Wrap
Martin’s uses nickel to wrap the Titanium strings. Nickel is naturally corrosion-resistant and holds its tone for a very long time. The nickel and titanium work together to provide the ultimate corrosion-free string.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT
I've had these Strings on my Johnny Cash D-35 for over a year and they still sound great. Mist strings have a "Clam down" period which drive me nuts. Not these. They play and sound great right out if the pack. Recomend them to a friend he put them on his new D-35 the used tonerite for two straight weeks. Tonerite will eat through strings like nothing else. Six months later the stings are still in his D-35 and still sound great. I Just put a set on my Custom shop D-18 Sinker Mahogany sounds Amazing and I'm good to go for a year or so. HIGHLY recommend these strings!!!

Don't recommend
I bought these strings for 40$. The first day I put them on the 5A string broke. The tension these strings produce is a little too much. Martin should really consider making an extra light gauge. I like the appearance of the strings and they felt good for the 30 min I played with them. I would not recommend these strings until Martin hits the lab.

These strings have been on my newly set-up guitar since October. Yep. October, and it's almost March. They stay in tune and still sound pretty good. I'd probably use D'Addario EJ16s for recording/performing, but these can't be beat for teaching.
Not spending the money for these again

Low E string broke when installing. Just snapped. Not over tightened. I quit there. Didn't put the other strings on. I mean, snap a low E. Come on now Martin you can do better than that at this price point. Martin HD-35.
