Martin 000-JRE Shawn Mendes Custom Signature Edition Acoustic-Electric Guitar Natural

I really enjoyed how comfortable the guitar is to play out of the box. The quality of the guitar was leaps ahead of a gs mini that I previously owned. I can't help by smile when I strum this guitar. Guarantee ya won't regret it.

I receive my 000-JRE Shawn Mendez on Tuesday. Other than the strings being too light for my liking, the guitar plays and sounds better than I imagined it would. Very happy to add this to my other Martin collection.

I've had this guitar for around 2 months now and it has been such a joy to play that I can't put it down! This is my first Martin guitar, and though I wouldn't consider myself an expert, this one seems like a gem. It sounds better than many larger full body acoustics, the neck is smooth, the action is perfect height, and it seems to stay in tune nicely. Originally I was debating between this model, the Special X Macassar, and the 000-15M Street master. This model sounded a notch above the Macassar and it sounded just as good as the Street master albeit not quite as good looking in my opinion. However the price difference between the two and the gig bag that comes with this is ultimately what made my decision. The only cons I can think of is that since it is a 000JR model, accessing the higher frets can be more difficult, but that comes with the territory of this style. Overall excellent guitar and value, I don't think you will be disappointed!

I just watches it at the GC website and the first second I saw it, I didn't think it twice and knew I wanted it. It arrived the same day to my local GC and took it just to make a few adjustments, hydrate the frets, and adjust the bridge so the strings to be a little lower, changed to elixir 11/52 and wow, i just love how clean and bright just sound

While in my local GC, I started playing this gem. Its all-solid wood construction (all FSC certified) made my mediocre finger style playing shimmer. My beloved GS Mini-e Rosewood can't match it for tone (neither can the regular 000-jr10e) and after a trip to the luthier for set-up, it is astonishing. I am ambivalent about Mr. Mendes, but this guitar is truly a thing of beauty, and is so present. For an inanimate object, it sure seems to delight in being played. Intonation is good, but a just a tad vague. I'm going to treat it to a set of Schaller Grand Tunes. Aesthetically pleasing too, with the antique top wood stain, engraving on the bridge and easter egg hiding place where there's a lyric passage! Who knew my forever guitar would be so affordable?!
